What’s going on?
It’s been a while since I posted something here but all is well. I’ve pushed a couple of updates for Goop since launch that addressed some minor bugs and introduced a few more achievements. I’ve also been very excited about the many great reviews that Goop has received!! We plan on releasing future update to Goop to make the game even better!
So what else has been going on? We’ll we’ve been in the planning stages and more recently started the initial coding of developing our next iOS game title! I’m very excited about this next game, and will share with you the progress and details as I see fit. There is not an official release date at this time, and we’re holding off on announcing the title and some of the details as things are still being hammered out, but we’ll disclose that in the very near future!!

Basically… iOS users love games!
Overall the percentage of iOS owners who play games is between 50% - 70%. Games also represent half of all paid and free downloads on the App Store. All of this isn’t a shocker, but it’s nice to see numbers behind it.

I frequent the TouchArcade developer forums among others and it’s typical to find a topic where indie game developers usually share their gripes and tribulations about designing their game.
